Avana Project with Ledcor: Powering a Community from the Ground Up

Delivering full electrical infrastructure for a multi-building residential development—our team is powering a new community from the ground up with precision, planning, and on-time execution.

Project Overview

The Avana Project, led by Ledcor, is a multi-building residential development that began in spring 2025 and is scheduled for completion in summer 2026. Our electrical team was selected to deliver reliable, code-compliant power systems from the very first stage—transforming an empty site into a fully powered community.

Electrical Scope & Responsibilities

Our role spans complete electrical service installation and civil work, including:

  • Installing service cables and individual meters for each unit
  • Establishing grounding systems and main panels
  • Roughing in electrical systems from the top floors downward
  • Cutting and fitting exterior receptacle openings to keep siding and exterior finishes on schedule

This scope ensures every building receives safe, efficient, and fully integrated electrical infrastructure.

Technical Execution & Coordination

Precision and coordination drive our approach. Our field crews work floor by floor, aligning installations with Ledcor’s construction sequence and ensuring full compliance with electrical codes. At the same time, our project leaders manage scheduling, inspections, and approvals, ensuring that every milestone is met without delay. This dual focus—hands-on installation and disciplined planning—keeps the project on track and to specification.

Planning & Material Management

To avoid supply delays and specification errors, our lead electricians plan, ordering long-lead materials early and secure engineering approvals in advance. Close scheduling and proactive communication with suppliers and engineers ensure that the right equipment arrives exactly when needed. These leadership-driven processes are as critical as on-site work, preventing costly slowdowns and ensuring uninterrupted progress.

Challenges & Solutions

Because we often work ahead of other trades, coordination is key. Continuous communication with site supervisors and contractors prevents rework and ensures our installations never interfere with other activities. Early procurement and strict specification checks mitigate risks of incorrect equipment or late deliveries, safeguarding both budget and timeline.

Result

By integrating skilled electrical workmanship with strong leadership and proactive planning, our team is helping Ledcor turn a bare construction site into a modern, fully powered community—on time, on budget, and built to last.
